Mrs. Varanie Lewis, age 76, departed this life Sunday, July 30,2023 at Mariam Parham Hospital.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Service 149 Holland Bland Rd. Warrenton. Reverend King Perry will officiate, and interment will follow at Jordan Hill Church cemetery 1683 Wise Five Forks Rd, Macon, NC 27551.

Varanie leaves to cherish her loving and devoted husband, Joe Lewis of the home; one son, Roy Palmer of Manson, NC; two daughters, Linda Shearin of Greenville, NC and Yolanda Street of Henderson, NC; two god-daughters, Maliaka Palmer of Henderson, NC and Tara Hinton of Wise, NC; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; two brothers, Reuben Palmer(Ingrid) of Norlina, NC and Robert Perry(Mildred) of Warrenton, NC; seven sisters, Margret Washington of Flint, MI; Melvina Palmer of Pendleton, SC; Levonie Twitty(Walter) of Norlina, NC; Ella Williams(Gaynell) of Norlina, NC; Carrie Gouch of Henderson, NC; Tiny Perry of Warrenton, NC; Winnie Prince of Warrenton, NC; three sisters-in-laws, Cornelia Palmer of Norlina, NC; Diane Palmer of Warrenton, NC and Nancy Lewis(Gerald) of Capital Heights, Maryland; one brother-in-law, Mike Lewis(Minnie) of Oine, NC; one aunt, Lucy Palmer of Hillsborough, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends .
