Funeral services for Mr. John “Bubba” Williams, 65, of 106 Alvarez CT, Cordova SC, will be held 1:00pm, Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel, 2868 Columbia Road, Orangeburg.

Mr. John A. Williams, was born November 22, 1957, in Orangeburg, South Carolina to the late Charles, Sr. and Beatrice F. Williams. John entered eternal rest on Monday, August 1, 2023, at Colleton Medical Center, Walterboro.

John was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg, South Carolina.

In 1982, John married the love of his life, Mrs. Clare Williams. He later secured employment with the Coca-Cola Company, where he was a model employee for many years.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sr. and Beatrice F. Williams; and one sister, Julia W. Johnson.

He leaves to cherish fond memories and legacy of love to his wife of 40 years, Mrs. Clare C. Williams; two sons: John (Nonye) Connor of Seattle, WA and Jamar (LaChandra) Connor of Summerville, SC; two daughters: Jaunquetia (Katrell) Williams of Cordova, SC and Veronica (Philip) Franklin of Orangeburg, SC; three sisters: Nancy Henry of Atlanta, GA, Jessie Goode of Orangeburg, SC and Sandra (Timothy) Gadson of Columbia, SC; one brother, Charles Jr. (Sharon) Williams; two sisters-in-law: Marie (Michael) Washington of Cordova, SC and Shirley (Erasmus) Okoye of Seattle, WA; one uncle, Clarence (Earnestine) Frazier; twelve grandchildren: Ayanna, Jayonna, Ty’Anna, Jamya, Quamar, Elijah, Kiara, Rayshaun, Tyree, Ethan, Philip Jr. and Cameron; a special nephew/son, Milton (Ruddy) Busby; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 2:30pm - 6:00pm.
