In remembrance of Lorena Lucinda Cunningham

Lorena Cunningham was born on May 20, 1932, to Otha and Tecora Johnson in Spartanburg, SC. She departed this life on July 27, 2023.

She was a member of the Church Of The Living God, where she served as a dedicated mother of the church and a loving community member. Lorena had a big heart and a passion for cooking and feeding anyone in need.

She worked as a textile worker, for thirty-two years. She was also a caregiver until the age of seventy-five. She was a great mother of nine children.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Tony Lamar Cunningham, Coy Savannah Cunningham, her daughters, Helen Pearl Cunningham and Sharon Lenise Cunningham, her brothers, Savannah and W.C. Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories: her daughters, Aileen Crawford, Patricia Cunningham Jackson, Lucinda Thompson (Nathan) and Angela Williams (Danny); her sons, Richard Cunningham and Calvin Cunningham (Barbara); a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; her brother, MacArthur Williams; sister-in-law, Jackie Johnson; nieces and nephews; honorary sons, Rod Fisher, Byron Butler (Ashley) and Carlton Young; and special friends.
