Obituary For Iva Frye Snodgrass

Iva Snodgrass, 73 of Nicholasville, KY, died on Monday, July 31, 2023, in Lexington, KY.

She was the daughter of the late Dickerson Clayborn and Nellie Frye Davenport Clayborn, was born in Jessamine County on December 22, 1949.

Iva, was a member of East Maple Street Christian Church her entire life. She was a former member of Fairest Chapter #104 Order of Eastern Star and served as past Matron and she had served various start points. Iva was a License Practical Nurse, formally employed at University of Kentucky, FCI and Brookside Elementary School.

She was proceeded in death by siblings, Willie D. Railey, Mary C. Roberts, Utah D. Clayborn and Robert Clayborn.

Iva leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Marshall Snodgrass; a faithful nephew, Sherman C. Roberts III; a precious great niece Briazhanae Roberts; a great nephew, Kamani D. Roberts, a great niece, Kymari L. Roberts; three sister-in-law, Clara Slaughter, Kay Burnside and Bessie May Mitchell and host of relatives and friends.

1:00 pm, Saturday, August 5, 2023, at East Maple Street Christian Church, 223 E. Maple Street, Nicholasville, KY.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 Until time of service at 1:00 pm.
