Willie “Fishman” Dixon Jr., a native of Cove City died Friday, August 4, 2023 in Newport News, VA.

His funeral service is 12:00 PM, Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Bryant Chapel AME Zion Church 506 N Main St., Cove City. The interment will follow at Bryant Chapel Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Denise Dixon, Virginia; sons, Willie Kornegay of New York, Willie Dixon, Newport News, VA; daughter, Vera Dixon, Newport News, VA and Amber Jones, Chesapeake, VA; brothers, Keith Ray Dixon, Germantown, MD, Kenneth Dixon, Cove City, NC , Timothy Edward Dixon, New Bern, NC, Jason Tyrone Dixon, LaGrange, NC; sisters, Reverend Evelyn Staton, Hampton, VA, Jean Sanders, Oxon Hill, MD, Reverend Dorothy Dixon, New Bern, NC, Daphne Dixon, Cove City, NC, Sharon Denise Dixon, Niagara Falls, NY; a host of grandchildren.
