Mrs. Eva Mae McNeil Robinson

Eva Mae McNeil Robinson was born on March 25th, 1949 in Wadesboro, NC to the late Pete and Velma McNeil. She departed this life on August 7th, 2023 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham, NC.

She attended Anson County public schools. She earned her Early Childhood Credentials in 1982 in Bad Kreuznach, Germany.

She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Cedar Creek Missionary Baptist Church and remained a faithful member serving as a member of the Usher Board, Senior Choir, Pastor’s Aid, Family & Friends Day Committee, and Beautification Committee. She was also an active part of the Children’s Hour Program.

On February 12th, 1967, she was united in Holy Matrimony to the late William Thomas Robinson and to this union three children were born. She and her family traveled the world living in various places including Colorado, Germany, Georgia, and Texas. She was employed at Fernandez Child Development Center in Fayetteville, NC for 34 years before retiring.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three loving children, Antonio (Thelma) Robinson of Wadesboro, NC, Robin (Larry) Wright and Kendricks (Kesha) Robinson both of Fayetteville, NC; five grandchildren: Teaira, Annika, Antonio Jr., Larry Jr., and Kevin; three great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Adalyn, and Zhane; three sisters, Mamie (Rev. Freddie) Little of Wadesboro, NC, Delores Sturdivant of Marshville, NC, and Kathy McNeil of Morven, NC; two brothers, Chester (Mamie) McNeil of Wadesboro NC and Kenneth McNeil of Winston Salem, NC. Three brothers, Henry McNeil Sr., Freddie McNeil, and Pete McNeil Jr., who preceded her in death. Two sisters, Norsey Sturdivant and Bernice Norton, who also preceded her in death; two sisters-in-law, Bertha Ratliff and Paulette Robinson both of Wadesboro, NC; one brother-in-law, Edward Robinson of Wadesboro, NC. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The Homegoing Services will be on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, 1:00pm, Cedar Creek Baptist Church, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will be in the family plot of the Church Cemetery.
