Gary Anthony Pickett, 67, of New Bern died Monday, August 14, 2023 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Viewing hours are Thursday 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM at Oscar’s Mortuary.

His service is 12:00 PM, Friday, August 18, 2023 at Pilgrim Chapel M. B. Church, James City Community. The interment will follow in the Meadows Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Pickett, New Bern; two sons, Shawn Pickett, Penn. and Devin Anthony Pickett; four brothers, Charles Pickett, New Bern, Jimmy Pickett, Archdale, NC Ronnie Pickett, Fayetteville, NC and Robert Pickett, Philadelphia, PA; two sisters, Lisa Daniels, Fayetteville, NC and Ann Carter, New York, NY; one grandchild.
