Mr. James Bennett Walton, 78, of Mooresboro, NC departed this life on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC. He was born on December 15, 1944 in Cleveland County, NC to the late James Walton and the late Bernice Hamrick Walton.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 11:30 AM at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 11:30 AM at the chapel on Saturday and at other times at 106 Random Drive in Mooresboro.
