Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I’m following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard his call, turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I've found that peace at the close of the day.

Mr. Hazard Wilson, age 88, of Macon, North Carolina, departed this life on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Maria Parham Health, Henderson, North Carolina.

Celebration of life will be conducted on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Greater Lovely Hill Baptist Church 404 Embro Odell Rd. Macon, NC 27551 burial will follow in the church cemetery

Public viewing will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 1:00 PM- 4:00 PM at Boyd & Royster Funeral Service 149 Holland Bland Rd. Warrenton.
