Shawn Scott Adams, 56 of Bowie, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 24th, 2023 near Alvord, TX due to a one man car accident.

Graveside services will take place at 9:00 am on August 30th, at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie, with Pastor Joe Caballero from Montague County Cowboy Church will be officiating.

Shawn was born on July 24, 1967 in Rochester, New York to George Arthur Adams and Beverly Anne Brodie. He moved to California in 1982 where he later went to study Computer Science at California Polytechnic College in Pomona, CA. In 1995 he married his wife Robin Carol Brenner to which they later had two beautiful girls Erica Lynn Adams (24) and Samantha Nichole Adams (21).

Shawn created his own IT business in 1996 called Adams Computer Concepts Inc. He was a devoted worker along with the help of his wife Robin and one employee he ran their successful business in their family home until 2020, when he retired. After retirement his daughters stayed in California for school while Shawn and his wife moved to Bowie, TX in November of 2022. Shawn had never originally been a man of faith but soon came to be a part of the Montague County Cowboy Church where he was welcomed with open arms.

Shawn is survived by his wife Robin, his daughters Erica and Samantha and mother, Beverly.
