Mr. Ronald Jeffery Byrd, Sr., 71, entered into rest, Tuesday, August 29, 2023, in Doctors Hospital of Augusta.

Ronald's legacy will be cherished by his wife of forty-eight years, Louise Streetman Byrd; son, Christopher; granddaughter, Ameisha; daughter-in-law, Angela; sister, Ruby (Jesse) Mason of Burlington, New Jersey; aunt, Mary (Willie) Floyd of Jacksonville, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church (1830 Springhill Church Road, Hephzibah, GA) with Reverend Willie Mincey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Friday, September 1, 2023, at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, GA. (706) 790-8858.
