Herbert L. Perry, Jr. formerly of New Bern, passed away August 25, 2023 at his home in Maryland.

Funeral service is Monday, September 11, 2023 in Maryland. Services entrusted to Marshall March Funeral Home, Suitland, MD.

He is survived by his wife, Katie Best Perry, of the home; son, Herbert Perry, III, New Bern; adopted daughter, Cynthia Moore; brothers, George, William, James, Alton, Samuel, Rodriquiez; sisters, Carolyn and Rosa, New Bern; three grandchildren.
