Emma's viewing will be September, 8, 2023 from 5 pm to 7 pm, followed by a homegoing service on September 9, 2023, at 1 pm here at Steele-Bullock Funeral Home, located at 3950 Turnpike Rd, Portsmouth, VA

To My Beloved Sister Emma, After mom and dad die, you became the head of our family. I will miss so much our times of fellowship over the phone. Times we prayed and cried together over our children, grandchildren, and our family. We had wonderful, blessed times of praise and worship. I will miss getting your famous homemade coconut cake you made for me on my birthday and your homemade mac and cheese. Hmmm that was the best ever. The joy i have now is knowing that as a believer in Jesus Christ. I will see you again in heaven my sister. Rest now in the present of our Lord until we meet again. Mom,I miss you so much and love you so much more , I dont know how long I can wear this smile and say im ok when deep down in mmy heart im not ok,Mom you is my Mother , my best friend ,we can talk for hours , you always supported me , no more pain . no more suffering ,Mom you have a big heart , care giving ,and a sweet personality , you always help others in need , but I can sit here a write book but I have to go for now .
