Ms. Curletha Crosby Williams a resident of Montgomery, AL. passed away September 1, 2023. There will be a visitation Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 4-6 in Ross-Clayton Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ross-Clayton Funeral Home.

Curletha Lorraine Crosby Williams, affectionately known to many as “Cee Cee”, a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend was born on November 10, 1960 in Montgomery, AL to William H. Crosby and Elnora W. Crosby. Curletha was called to be a servant of God in Heaven on September 1, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her father, William H. Crosby, stepfather Samuel L. Rose, husband Reginald Williams, sister Lurline Green, niece Chiquita Rose, two nephews Trevis A. Green and Stephen “tWitch” Boss, and brother-in-law John A. Green.

She accepted Christ at an early age at Old Elam Missionary Baptist Church in Montgomery Alabama under the leadership of the late Rev. George W. Bozeman. Curletha later united and joined The Heart of God Ministries in Montgomery Alabama under the guided leadership of Pastor Reginald Simpkins.

Curletha obtained her primary and secondary education in the Montgomery County Public School System at Madison Park Elementary, Capitol Heights Junior High School and was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School's class of 1978. Curletha furthered her education while attending Trenholm State Technical College where she received an Associate's degree as an LPN. Curletha enjoyed the healthcare profession and had a passion for elderly care. After spending her time and dedication to healthcare, she was selected to join the U.S. Postal Service where she was later promoted while serving the public for 30 years.

Curletha's memories will forever be cherished by her mother, Elnora W. Rose of Montgomery, AL; two daughters, Demetrias C. Woods (Ceyon), Swansboro, N. C. and Regina S. Crosby (Damian) of Pike Rd, AL; three loved and adored grandchildren, Carter Winston Woods, Blakely Morgan Woods and Abernathy Manoah Woods of Swansboro, NC; three brothers Donald (Bettye) Crosby, Sanford C. Rose, Foster (Plummie) Ware, Montgomery, AL.; one sister, Sandra C. Ross all of Montgomery, AL; one uncle Richard Rose of Itta Bena, MS; nephews: Marcus Howard (Shun) Atlanta GA, Damous Coleman Montgomery AL, Deondre Rose Tampa FL; nieces: Keshia Townsend, Johndara Green, Maria Smith (Wilshad), Audrey Barnes (Jay), Victoria Ross and Jayla Rose all of Montgomery, AL, along with 4 great nephews, 5 great nieces and a host of cousins, and friends.
