Lucille Maude Kirkland Carrol known to her church sisters as Sister Kirkland was born in Port Antonio, Jamaica West Indies on December 15, 1931. To her work friends and neighbors, she was known as Mrs. Carrol. Lucille had one sibling, her older sister Irene Kirkland. At an early age, she migrated to the USA through Nassau, Bahamas. She had two wonderful children, Kingsley Alphonso Burnett and Karlene Marie Valentine.
