Alfred Grant Jr., born April 2, 1978, to the late Alfred Grant, Sr., and the late Annie Marie Grant in Putnam County. Alfred received his education through Putnam County Schools. He play Pop Warner football in his youth. He enjoyed dancing and making people laugh.
In addition to his parents, Alfred was preceded in eternal rest by his grandparents, James and Martha Mitchell, Harry and Mamie Grant, and his daughter Nicosia Clark.
He leaves to cherish his memories: two sons, Alfred Grant III and Alfred Grant IV, a grandson, Jeremy Myles Jr., a sister, Shepherdess Patricia A. Guess (Varian Guess, Sr.), a brother, Terrance L. Kemp (long term friend Lawanna McCray), five nephews, Terrance Kemp Jr., Ta’zarious Kemp, Varian Guess II, Tavon Kemp, and Varian Guess III, one niece, Te’Niyah Kemp, a “cousin like a brother” Terry Mitchell Jr. (Hazel Mitchell) and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The Grant family will receive friends and the community 5-6:30 p.m., Friday, September 15, at the Felix Coleman Memorial Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, September 16, at Servant Church, 322 N. 10th St. in Palatka. Interment will be held in Pattersonville Cemetery.
