What can one say about a black man, who loved his city. He told me & showed me the plans for a construction of a building that he never got to build. He did not let it stop him. He built other buildings. He was a kind & loving man. He told me how he met his wife, that he loved dearly. He loved his family, especially his father. My friend & former neighbor, the politician, builder & community activist has now gone to glory, and he will be missed. The Eggleston family has my deepest condolences.
