Mr. Jermane Rafephel (Flav) Monroe, 50, transitioned from his life early Sunday morning, September 10, 2023 at Hospice of Davidson County. Flav was born in Newburgh, New York and lived his life in High Point and Thomasville, NC. He was preceded in death by his sister, Isanett Dorn.

He worked multiple jobs working for Triad Tree Trimmers along with Pelicans Rehabilitation Center. Flav was the life of the party. He always called himself the grill master. You would always have a good meal and good laugh when you were with him. He loved his family and friends and wanted to spend as much time with everyone as he could.

Flav is survived by his mother, Carrie Monroe of Thomasville, NC; daughter, Lavivia Pratt, Deondre Stanley of High Point, NC, Deonte Williams, Rendretius Greene, Kendrick Greene, Zymir Greene all of Thomasville, NC; siblings, Paul Monroe of High Point, NC, Danaya Beckwith of Thomasville, NC, Eric Artis of Portland, OR.; four grandchildren, Kaydence Stanley, Deondre Stanley, Jr., Alaya Leach, Kimora Crenshaw; special friend, Shameka Greene of Thomasville, NC; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
