Betty Jean Shelton, 85 of Memphis, Tennessee died on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at her residence in Memphis, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, May 11, 1938 in Batesville, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late John Booker and the late Florence Smith.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 10:00am-11:55am with a funeral service to follow at 12:00noon both will be held at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church 491 E McLemore Ave, Memphis, TN 38106
