Obituary For Myrtle E. Niblett

On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, Myrtle E. Niblett 77, of Booker Rd., Martinsville transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life at her residence. She was born in Martinsville, VA on January 9, 1946, the daughter of the late Clifford Henry Niblett, Sr. and the late Estelle Virginia Stockton Niblett. In addition to her parents, Myrtle was preceded in death by one brother, Clifford H. Niblett, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sisters, Barbara J. Hairston of Axton, VA, and Shirley A. Walker (Payton) of Martinsville, VA; three brothers, Joseph L. Niblett (Geneva), Curtis D. Niblett (Gloria), and Freddie W. Niblett (Sylvia) all of Martinsville, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Carver Memorial Gardens, 1310 Carver Rd., Martinsville, VA with Elder Brandon Hairston, Eulogist. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Hairston Funeral Home between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. There will be no public viewing. The family asks that you please wear a face covering due to the rise of COVID activity.
