Jashai Benson, age 30, passed away on September 7, 2023.

Jashai was born on December 20, 1992 in Youngstown, OH to James Mitchell and Marlett Benson.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held for Ms. Jashai Benson on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Jaylex Event Center located at 2110 Glenwood Ave, Youngstown, OH 44511. A Public Viewing will be held one hour prior on the same day, starting at 11:00 AM.

Jashai! I'll never forget the laughs we shared, the times you've seen me cry about my mom and was there! Doing drama club, getting food between rehearsals going to get food afterwards, and just for being an all around amazing friend!! You will forever be missed!! Rest Easy sis!
