Alfreddie Ogburn, Jr. of Arlington, Virginia entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at the age of 50. Alfreddie was born in Halifax County, Virginia on July 31, 1973 to Alfreddie Ogburn, Sr. and Louise Ogburn. He was affectionately known as Jr., Al Jr, and Fred. Jr. received his education at the Mecklenburg County Public Schools and later graduated from Washington and Lee High School in Arlington, Virginia. He was formerly contracted with Williams Meter Company in Forestville, MD. Jr. didn’t mind giving a helping hand to those in need and help lead them in the right direction. He loved spending time with his children, family and friends. He had the most infectious smile and laugh. He had a love for cars, he enjoyed his music, and was a dedicated Dallas Cowboy fan. He leaves to cherish his fondest memories one son Donte Campbell; two daughters, Aniyah Ogburn and Kayla Ogburn; two bonus daughters, Kwashia Campbell and Taiya Shearard; two bonus grandsons and two bonus granddaughters; his father, Alfreddie Ogburn (Elinor) and his mother Louise Ogburn; one maternal grandmother, Molly Jiggetts; one brother Glendale Ogburn (Atoya); two sisters, Ebony Ogburn and Dejanae Penick; two cousins (adopted sisters), Audrey (Shaquille) Britton and Eunice Hargrove; three nephews; two nieces; 14 uncles; 11 aunts; a host of relatives and friends; his devoted and special friends, Richard Smith, Tony Reed, Eddie Reed, Keisha Anderson, and Christina Ogburn. Jr. was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jasper Ogburn, Mable Ogburn and George Jiggetts; two uncles and four aunts.
