Norman Ray Barrett, 61, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 at his residence in Clayton, NC.

Celebration of Life Services 11:00 AM Thursday, September 21, 2023, at the Jasper G. Hayes Omega Center, 800 Cedar Street, New Bern, NC

He is survived by his wife Demarvis Barrett of the home; son, Norman Rashard Barrett; brothers, Joseph Barrett, Leander Barrett, William Barrett, John Barrett, James Hudson, Jerome Hudson; sisters, Janice Pearsall, Floretta Campbell, Theresa Barrett, Gwendolyn Williams;two grandchildren.

Norman was a true friend in every possible! He loved his family so much but never forgot his friends. He could brighten a room just by walking in with that smile. I am so sorry for your family's loss and my thought are with them.
