Obituary For Mr. Bruce Kennedy Lay

Mr. Bruce Kennedy Lay, age 62, of Cedartown transitioned on September 17, 2023. The Celebration of Life for Mr. Bruce Kennedy Lay will be Monday, September 25, 2023 at 2 pm at Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church in Cedartown, Ga.

Interment will follow the Celebration at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Ga. on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 2:30 pm.

We prepare financially and even spiritually, but we can't bring ourselves to to physically see or think of our love ones leaving us. We know to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord. As hard as it is to say our final goodbyes There is no better place to be than with the lord. I say to you all weep if you must for even jesus christ wept, but do not bind Bruce to this earth any longer. He has paid his ultimate debt to society. He is finally free now. Release him, and let him fly away to the heavens. In my closing I say to Bruce sleep on, take your rest. We the family and friends love you, but God deserves the best.
