Viewing rites for Mr. Dewone Banks were held on Monday, September 18, 2023, at the Hazlehurst Funeral Home Chapel in Hazlehurst, MS from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Hazlehurst Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m.; Rev. Douglas Noel, officiating.

Internment immediately followed at Shady Grove Church Cemetery.
