David came up in a conversation I was having with my son, and this prompted me to Google David after forty years. I knew him when we were at UGA. He jammed with my band, and borrowed my keyboard/synthesizer, until a supporter of the Bulldogs generously provided David with his own. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences for what is clearly a great loss to your church and community.

I never met Bishop McCluskey but had many conversations with him and precious Rena. I felt love and a friendship from our first conversation. Though he left this earth way too soon. I am thankful that I know where is is. He is in the arms of our Heavenly Father. He heard those words of "Well done my good and faithful child" he is whole and he is well. I rest in knowing one day we will meet in person. I send blessings to Rena and the family.

The pain of grief is just as much part of life as the joy of love: it is perhaps the price we pay for love, the cost of commitment. "Death is a challenge. It tells us not to waste time. It tells us to tell each other right now that we love each other." I just want to express my condolences and prayers to Renea and the McCluskey family. Michelle Mims-Payton

Bishop David and myself, my mom and both our families go way back....He always referred to me as "cuz". I never quite knew why or how but I was always told we are related. I have so many memories of "cuz". One in particular was while I attended GNJ and was in the choir. He was always so hard on me and back then, I really didn't like it, but I never got the chance to tell you that now that I'm older,I understand Bishop! I remember once asking him to pray for me to stop smoking but he just told me that once I get tired of doing wrong, I will stop. He was always so straight forward and that's what I admired about him He loved his wife and children so much, and the love they shared made me always want what they have. First lady Rene I am praying for you and you all's children and grandchildren siblings and family. He was so loved and admired by many and I know Apostle was standing there waiting with open arms. Only God knows why these events happen so soon but one thing I am assured of is that God has a plan for what will be coming next. I'm praying for you all and I love you guys me and my mom always. Love always SaConda Johnson and Min.Evang. Sis Nancy Johnson and family.πŸ’•πŸ’“πŸ’ͺπŸΏπŸ™πŸΏπŸ™πŸΏπŸ™πŸΏ
