Frank Ford Sr was born in Gray, GA on May 16, 1934 to the late Elijah and Carrie Ford. He
departed this life on September 14, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
He was a devoted husband and caring father. Franco, as he was affectionately called by
his wife, were together for more than 52 years. They created a lifetime of memories,
especially the crowning six, referring to the two sons and four daughters resulting from
their union.
Frank dedicated his life to Jehovah and symbolized it by water baptism in 1974. He was a
zealous witness and took the initiative to preach to everyone. He served as an elder in the
Northwoods Congregation for more than 40 years. He was an avid checker and card
player. He retired from Timberlake Grocery after 50 years of employment. Frank leaves
behind to treasure his memory four daughters, Kwajalein (Warren) English of Iowa,
Samaria Ann Ford, Caroline (James) Nelson of Macon, Franceen (David) Ford-Reeves, and
one son, Johnny (Chandra) Ford. Ten grandchildren, Travis Dawson, Tevin Mincey,
Chancellor Ziegler, Keunta and Chris Hollingshed, Blake Ford, Makenzi Ableman, Johntay
Ford and Jordan and Caitlin Nelson. Also left to cherish his memory is a host of family
and friends, too many to count, He was preceded in death by his wife Gwendolyn Ford and
his son Frank Ford Jr,
