Mrs. Frances Freeman Middlebrooks, more affectionately known as “Baby Ruth,” was born January 10, 1955 to Ms. Virginia Hammock Traylor in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia. She attended public school in the Upson County School System.
Frances was the mother of two children. To help support her family, she was employed at Harborview Health System for over 20 years. She enjoyed working with and taking care of the patients.
She confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined the Church of God By Faith of Roberta, Ga. She enjoyed going to church and hearing the preached word of God. During her leisure time, she love attending church, grocery shopping and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother. On Saturday, September 23, 2023, the Lord called her name. She answered the call and went home to external rest.
Frances leaves to cherish her memory, two children, Ms. Tarsha (Sherrod) Smith and Mr. Jason Middlebrooks both of Thomaston, GA; two grandchildren, Mr. Myron (Dasha) Walker and Ms. Nytia Smith both of Thomaston, GA; five step grandchildren, D' Myrion Walker, Asia Russell, Brandie Carriker, Teoinna Carriker and Bella Walker; four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Vinson, Mrs. Patsy McKinley, Mrs. Sharon (Arthur) Andrews and Mrs. Jan (Andre) Wright all of Thomaston, GA; one adopted son, Mr. Taverese Gray of Thomaston, Ga; two adopted daughters, Ms. Linda Caldwell of Thomaston, GA and Mrs. Michell (Danny) King of Perry, GA; one adopted granddaughter, Ms. Danethia Perry of Warner Robins, GA; aunts and uncles include, Mrs. Lucille Gray of Atlanta, GA, Mrs. Betty Snipes and Mrs. Doris Hammock both of Thomaston, GA; and Mr. Eugene Hammock and Charles Hammock both Detroit, MI; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
