John H. Merchant, III. (Castro)- of Knoxville departed this life on September 27, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his Father, John Merchant, Jr; Sister, LaTasha Welcome, Sakinna Merchant, and other relatives.

He is survived by Sons; De’John Merchant, J”ohn Merchant, Mother Kathy Welcome; Brother; Maurice Merchant; Sister, Angela Merchant, Aunt, Greata Merchant, a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 12-1:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Ben Hemphill officiating.
