On Wednesday, September 21, 2023 our King, Frederick George Hall, Sr., gained his heavenly wings and is now our guardian angel.
He was born November 7, 1940, in Howard County, Frederick graduated from Harriet Tubman School. He attended the University of Maryland for 2 years. He then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served 4 years active and 2 years reserve.
While in the Marine Corps in Albany, GA, he met and fell in love with Lenora Holloway Hall whom he married December 22, 1963. From this union they have three kids, Deborah, Daryl and Baby Boy, Fred Jr.
Frederick Sr. accomplishments included 38 years of service Government Printing Office (GPO).
Frederick Sr. was a devoted member and servant of the Prince Hall Family from 1984 until Frederick started his service at Mt. Zion Methodist Church, Laurel, MD. His journey continued to Albright United Methodist where he was Head of Trustee Board and a member of the male voices. He finished his journey at Whites Chapel CME, Barnesville, GA.
Frederick leaves fond memories in he hearts of his daughter Ms. Deborah L. Johnson of Tampa, Florida; two sons, Mr. Daryl (Patricia) Hall, and Mr. Frederick G. Hall (Tanya F.) both of Barnesville, Georgia; God-Daughter Mrs. Marisa (James) Howell of Newport News, Virginia: Ten Grandchildren and Fourteen Great- Grandchildren; one sister Mrs. Victoria Hutt-Scott of College Park, Maryland; two brothers Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Hall Sr. of Hyattsville, Maryland, and Mr. John (Michelle) Hall of Baltimore, Maryland; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends in the Georgia and Maryland Communities.
