Charlie W. Banks also known to many as “Knight Rider” was born October 12, 1931, in Barnesville, GA to Fernand and Rose Lee Banks who preceded him in death along with one son and all his sisters and brother. He was called home on September 28, 2023 at the age of 91.

Mr. Banks gave his life to Christ at an early age and became a member of Sandhill CME Church where he was the Sunday school superintendent. He was a Disc Jockey for 4 years at the Barnesville radio station while employed at Lamar Electric Membership Corporation for 32 years as a lineman. He retired and was a full-time farmer tending to his many animals daily.

Mr. Banks is survived by Charlie Frank Banks (Diane), Rudolph Banks, Curtis Banks (Liz), Sharon Harvey (David), Sandra Puckett (Eddie), Rufus Banks (Gail), Francine Parks, 15 grandchildren and a nephew, and many cousins and friends.
