Helen Marie Cannon passed away at The Alive Hospice Nashville in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 82. She was born in Williamson County, Tennessee to the parents of Anderson and Mattie Roberts Lee.

Those left behind to cherish her many memories; her children, Carla (Bryon) Loyd and James Cannon Jr.; grandchildren: Erica (Vandale) Gentry, Octavius (Haley) Lee, Brandis Loyd, Cameron Lee, D’Ondra Loyd; great grandchildren, Caden Gentry, Camden Gentry, Julien Hollingsworth; sisters, Shirley Lee, Mildred Lee, Yvonne Hughes and Mazzie Lee; brothers, Sterling Lee and Mark (Sheila) Lee; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, special friends, Linda Jones, Frances Patton and Thelma Battle.

Mrs. Cannon will lie in state on, Monday, October 9, 2023 from 12 until 5 at the funeral home.

Visitation with family, Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 11:00 until 12:00 at First Missionary Baptist Church, 913 Natchez Street Franklin, Tennessee, with funeral to began at 12:00 Pastor James Hambrick, officiating and Elder Bernard Jones, eulogist.

Interment Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, Pegram, Tennessee.
