The funeral services for the Mrs. Lacheri Denise Harp Jones, who departed this life on Monday, October 2. 2023, will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. from the Unity Baptist Church in Sylvester, Georgia. Overseer Eugene Kelley will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in the Shepard Memorial Garden Cemetery in Sylvester, Georgia. On September 15, 1979, a bundle of joy was to Mr. Charlie Harp Jr. and Mrs. Vernell R. Harp in Tift County, Georgia.

Education and Work

Lacheri graduated from Tift County High School and was a proud member of “Class of 1999”. She completed her Associate of Arts in 2022 and was pursuing her Bachelor Degree in Business Administration at University of Phoenix. She worked at Hood Packaging Corporation.

Worship

Lacheri attended Overcomer Deliverance Church since 2019 at 305 South Jefferson Street, Sylvester, Georgia.

Transition

Lacheri gained her wings on October 2, 2023. Our hearts are filled with sorrow, but Heaven has welcomed a faithful servant.

She joined in Holy Matrimony to her devoted husband, Cedric Jones, with whom she raised a family and shared a wonderful life and many happy memories.

She leaves a cherish of precious memories with her devoted husband, Cedric Jones; her loving daughter, MaKayla Graham; her son, McKenzie Graham; her step-children, LeKristen Jones, Markees Jones, Nigela Jones; grandson, Mason Stamper; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie, Jr. and Vernell R. Harp; her sister, Kimberly Harp; her brother, Charlie Harp III (Dr. Yolanda Davis), her brothers-in-law, Bernard (Sandra) Moore, Lorenzo (Mattie) Moore, Terry (Veronica Smith), Coray Jones, Patrick Moore; sisters-in-law, Victoria (Samuel) Stokes, Deborah (Tony) Rhymes; aunts, Diane Terrell, Glennell Vance, Berlin (Gerald) Ferguson; uncles Richard Reddrick and Darrell Reddrick; her best friend, Jackie Lewis, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
