A celebration of life honoring Lydia E. Davis Carter, 87, of Pell City will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at First Baptist Church, South. Reverend Ira Harris is the pastor. Reverend Ronnie Beavers will deliver the eulogy. Interment will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Alabama National Cemetery. Mrs. Carter will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. on Friday, October 20, 2023, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Carter leaves to cherish her memories: two children, Deryl W. Carter and daughter. Dorcas L. Carter; three grandchildren, Jasmine N. Carter, Jared D. Carter and Kecia K. Carter; three great grandchildren, Landon, Kylee and Karson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
