Mrs. Loretta Withrow Woods was born to the late Ed Withrow and Nannie Scott Withrow on December 24, 1920 in Rutherfordton, NC. She departed this life Tuesday, October 5, 2023 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Tillman, her parents; three sons: Dewey Woods, McCoy Woods and John Tillman Jr., two daughters: Joyce Ann Woods and Rosetta Woods.

Loretta leaves to cherish her fond memories: Her children; five sons: Ray Baxter, Eddie Woods, Calvin Woods, Stanley Woods and Steve Woods (Stella), four daughters: Esterleen Woods, Ernestine Woods, Brenda Woods and Linda Woods and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
