Alexander Rudd, 77 of Greensboro, North Carolina, transitioned from labor to reward on October 3, 2023. His Celebration of Life service will be held 10:30AM on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Woodard Funeral Home Chapel, with visitations starting 30min prior to the service at the chapel.

Alexander was born on April 24, 1946, in Guilford County, North Carolina to the late Colleen Herbin Rudd and James Monroe Rudd. Alexander was born number 6 of thirteen children.

He is preceded in death by his siblings, James Robert Rudd (deceased), Annie Lou Rudd Graves (deceased), William Henry Rudd (deceased),

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Visua Patrick Rudd; two daughters, Constance R. Rudd and Lisa A. Rudd; three grandchildren, JeQuoia Robinson (Terrance), Alexis Rudd (DeAngelo), and Bobby Ray James, Jr.; one great-grandchild, Talon Robinson; siblings, Edward Odell Rudd, Charles Monroe Rudd, Clarence Howard Rudd, Geraldine Rudd Vanstory, Fred Douglas Rudd, Mary Elizabeth Rudd Scales, John Roy Rudd, Dorothy Grey Rudd Purcell and Betty Jean Rudd Robinson. Alexander was well known in his community and leaves a host of other family and close friends.
