Mrs. Lucille Marie Collins Gamble, 78, of Phenix City, AL passed Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in Auburn, AL.

Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. EST, Friday, October 27, 2023 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL with Rev. Harrison Ford, officiating. Visitation is Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 2-5 p.m. EST.

Mrs. Gamble was born May 27, 1945 in Mobile, AL to the late Walter Collins and the late Edna Collins. She was a 1963 graduate of Central High School and retired from the Scott Paper Company in Mobile, AL.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Gamble, Sr.; one brother, John H. Collins and one sister, Zondra Greene. She is survived by numerous children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
