To my dearest friend , I will always miss you and love you so much. I will miss your down to earth jokes and your ability to laugh at yourself. Please rest in peace because I know how you struggle to stay here. Love you much and Eric sung your favorite song at your beautiful services. Forever yours, Ina N. Watson

I, Brother Malcolm Dodd, Jackson, have so many fond and humorous memories of this fella. I met him many years ago through our mutual friend, the late James Lee Hopkins. I always liked hearing about your travels, your teaching career, and oh how you'd make us laugh talking about "Mahelen". God bless you my friend and to his family, remember this, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord.

To the Bibbs family, I send my deepest sincerest condolences at this time! I will miss seeing James during the Holiday season, especially, when I'm ringing the bell for the Red Kettle for salvation army donations for assistance of those in need. I would always run into my friend at Kroger's. We were class friends a long time ....Back- in -the- day! Jr., Senior high school days at Blackburn, Jim Hill years....maybe bout 3 years above me, but, we were all going across that track and out the'dition, together! Then, I got the honor and privilege to come back together again in life and become co-workers, at Provine H.S.! He was a phenomenal Math teacher and I was a Biology/Chemistry/Science teacher there for a number of years..."TEACHERS RULE" was a little 'pun- saying we made up while working together there. Rest bro. James, Mr. Bibbs, as lovingly called by his students....May God bless you all, keep and comfort you....love, always Jim Hill & Provine Teachers.....Miss Mary Holden, long time friend🙏

To my Jim Hill High School classmates family. James was a Joy and Pleasure to have been placed in my path. Not only did he have a "crack me up" sense of humor, his brain power was impressive. I will miss hearing of the adventures he encountered throughout his life. Fly high James!!! Marcia Watts.
