On April 7, 1942 a baby girl was born into the loving household of Milo and Martha Lee Hannah. They named her Gracie Lee.
She made her transition from labor to reward on October 18, 2023 at an Augusta Hospital.
Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023 at James and Virginia Davis Chapel, 727 Beech Street, Louisville, Georgia at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be held in Sandvalley A.M.E. Church Cemetery.
Public viewing will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M.
Gracie attended the Jefferson County School System. For several years she worked at Stapleton Garment. She loved cooking and for several years she worked in food service.
As long as she was able she enjoyed worshipping with the Christian Saints at Kingdom Life Fellowship Ministries where she served on the Missionary Board, Usher Board and the Pastor's Aide.
Gracie is preceded in death by her parents: Milo and Martha Hannah; two sons: Essau Hannah and James Hannah; her siblings: Mary Lubin, Callie Hannah, Hollis Hannah, Roosevelt Hannah;
Her absence will forever be felt in the hearts and mind of her children: Richard (wife Dorothy) Hannah, Wrens, GA, Michele (husband Terrance) Way, Stapleton, GA, Judith (husband Frederick) Gresham, Waynesboro, GA; her siblings: Charles (wife Evelyn) Hannah, Detroit, MI and Christine (husband James) Harvey, Stapleton, GA; grandchildren: Darrell Worthen, Shaquna and Tamekia Curlin, Vanessa, Ricardo, Erica, Tiffany, Bryant and Kevin Hannah, Brittany Latimer, Anthony Berry, Queteller Pepples, Dontavious Laurenfort and Tony Hatcher; great-grandchildren: Janaisa Jones, Brenton Turner, Kaliyah and Darrell Worthen, Jr., La'Darrin and La'Quevon Peeples, Ivory Laurenfort, Alaydria and Andrez Brown, Tymon and Tyrone Jackson, Jr, Syntrell Johnson, Channel and Ernesia Wilson, Douglas Lewis, Malaysia Thomas, Kyntrell, Miracle, Anita and Bryant Hannah, Jr; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
