Oh my Hattie Mae. She was always like a grandmother to me and showed me nothing my kindness after I lost my mom. I never had my own grandmother but Hattie didn't think twice about making me feel like her own. She never judged me for anything and always spoke wisdom and love over my life. I've never quit known anyone like her, to be in her presence was to totally feel accepted and loved. She loved people with all her heart and was someone I knew I could trust whether I was right or wrong, she'd tell me about it but never turned her back. Her family took me in at my lowest and she will always hold a special place in my heart. Heaven def gained an angel and I know we shall meet again in heaven. Praying for the family and I will always speak of her and hold the memories close. π π

To the family. Hattie and I go way back. Our kids met at a young age and we both were surprised and amazed that my daughter and her son met later in life, fell in love and married. She was a strong beautiful lady. Rest well now. Vernell
