Marietta Beachem El-Amin

She was born on January 8, 1954 to Eddie Lee Beachem and Irene Thompson-Beachem in Dothan, Alabama.

Ms. Beachem accepted Christ at an early age. She graduated from Culver High School and later from Wallace Community College receiving an Associates Degree. Marietta was employed for 30 plus years as a Unit Secretary at Southeast Health.

Marietta departed this life on Monday, April 24, 2023. Shes is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Lee Beachem and Irene Thompson-Beachem and four sisters Ivey Beachem, Cradell Beachem Asbury, Zennie Beachem and Alice Beachem Allen and one brother, one brother William

(Young Chu) Beachem.

She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Khalis El-Amin; one sister, Annie L. (Thayes) Beachem-Frazier; nephews, Byron Beachem, Brannon Ashbury, Alfred Allen, Reginald Grant, Russell Grant, Jhustice Beachem, William Beachem, Jr., Supreme Beachem, Zion Beachem, Braylon Beachem and Junior Beachem; nieces, Tawanda Frazier, Denise A. Frazier, Wyvon Frazier, Deaja Ashbury and Shania Beachem. A host of loving great nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and sorrowing friends.

Visitation was held at Horace Williams Mortuary, 1457 E. Main St., Dothan, AL an hour before the ceremony (11:00 a.m.).

Memorial ceremony was held at Horace Williams Mortuary, 1457 E. Main St., Dothan, AL at 12 Noon.
