Howard Gentry Jr. was born July 22, 1958, to the late Ivy Junior Gentry and Eloise Fulton. He attended Kosciusko Public Schools. He received Christ at an early age at St. Paul Church of the First Born. Later he was united in Holy Matrimony to Martha Williams. To this union 7 children were born. He was gifted in carpentry, landscaping and electrical work. He was a Jack Of All Trades. He passed away November 5, 2023 at Baptist Medical Center.

He is preceded in death by one son: Leonard R. Gentry; three sisters: Mattie Davis, LeQueha Diane Windham, and O'Shannon Gentry. His loving mother: Eloise Louise Gentry, Father Ivy Junior Gentry, and Grandmother: Alice Nash.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sons: Howard (Ardranna) Williams, Orlando Gentry both of Kosciusko, MS. Four daughters: Felicia Williams, O'Shannon Ferguson, Cassandra Gentry, LaShonda Gentry all of Kosciusko, MS. Four brothers: Larry (Vanessa) Gentry, of Hattiesburg, MS, Nolan, Jerome, and Harold Gentry all of Kosciusko, MS. Two beautiful Sisters: Betty Tate and Barbara Teague both of Kosciusko, MS.

He has 28 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
