Ruth Cain Nelson, 97, widow of Wallace Nelson, died Thursday, November 9, 2023 at her residence, 9778 Raccoon Rd., Manning, SC. She was born May 25, 1926 in the Jordan section of Manning, SC. A daughter of the late Peter, Cain, Sr. and Estelle Brown Cain.

Public viewing will be held from 2:00 PM til 6:00 PM Friday, November 17, 2023 at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning, SC.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr. Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Harmony Presbyterian Churchyard Cemetery, Alcolu, SC.

The family is receiving friends beginning Monday, November 13, 2023, from 4PM til 7 PM at her residence.
