Ms. Sandra Denise Willis, 61, of Phenix City, AL passed Thursday, November 16,2023 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST, (12 noon CST) Friday, November 24, 2023 at Phillips Temple C.M.E. Church, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Gerald Rowe, pastor, officiting. Burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Phenix City, AL. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 10:30 - 2:00 p.m. EST.

Sandra Denise Willis “San” was born March 2, 1962 in Phenix City, AL to the late John and Pauline Willis.

She was a member of Phillips Temple C.M.E. Church, Phenix City, AL.

Sandra was preceded in her transition to glory by her son, Terek Willis; three siblings, Shirley Jean Willis-Floyd, John “Buster” Willis and Patricia Jean Ashburne.

Remaining and thriving on this earth are her two loving sisters, Betty Padgett (Michael) of Phenix City, AL and Gloria Hendricks Hune (Edward) of Lawrenceville,GA and a host of powerful and lovely nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends too great to name.
