Donald T. Moseley, Sr., of Midlothian, was a spectacular husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. His kind, loving and highly entertaining demeanor enabled him to positively impact all of those around him and will allow his legacy to live on well past his untimely death, on November 19, 2023, at the age of 41.
He graduated from Manchester High School in Chesterfield County, Virginia and later earned his HVAC license. In addition to his full-time work as a maintenance supervisor with Steelhead Management, he was truly a jack of all trades and the one that everyone would call on when they needed home repairs or improvements.
You could also call on Donald if you wanted to have a great time as he was always the life of the party. He would light up any room he entered with his silly jokes, contagious laughter and vibrant dance moves. He loved nothing more than spending time and having fun with family and friends. To know him was to love him and he will be deeply missed by many.
He was was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Purnell and Gloria Glasspie; maternal grandparents, Martha Moseley and Robert Henry and brother, Dontae Moseley.
Donald met the love of his life, Veronica Brown-Moseley, over 20 years ago. They were happily married for 17 years and have two amazing teenagers, Donald Moseley, Jr. and Zaliyah Moseley.
In addition to his wife, son and daughter, Donald is also survived by his mother, Opal Moseley; father, Donald Glasspie (Louise Phillips); sister, Monique Phillips; two brothers, Donovan Moseley and J’von Phillips; aunts; uncles; mother and father-in-law, Rosalind Brown and Ronald Brown; brother-in-law, Ronald Brown II; cousins, other relatives and friends.
Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. where viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2023. Donald’s Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, December 2 at Scott’s Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Livestreaming at scottsfuneralhome.com
