He is survived by his wife, Lora Mattocks, Baltimore, MD; three daughters, Katia Barber, Wake Forest, NC, Chandra Barber, Clayton, NC, LeKendra Mann, Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Natia Gaynor and Kamden Gaynor; sisters, Erlinda Leggett, New Bern, Cheryl Mann Clark, Clinton, MD, Lisa Carroll, Oriental, NC, Cynthia Carroll, Clayton, NC; Maria Williams, GA. and Debra Heckstall, New Bern NC; brother, Jeff Midgett, New Bern.
