I met Ms. Thompson only a few times, but I worked and have been friends with Malinda Stephens for many years. She had to be a terrific lady to have raised a daughter like Malinda. I know she was loved and her passing will be a tremendous loss to those who loved her. Our love and prayers go out to her family and friends.

To the Thompson Family, what a Precious Jewel mother Thompson was. Do know that there's no earthly sorrow that heaven can't heal. Mother is walking the streets of GOLD with the Savior and with her beloved husband and her precious son, and my best friend FOREVER even in eternity, Dumpie. Family, I love you ALL so MUCH but GOD loves you MORE. May the GOD of all PEACE gives you COMFORT during your season of sorrow. With love, Eric McKinnon & family

May the peace of God sustain you through this time of sorrow. Be comforted that she is in a better place and with the Father. Thank you, God for sharing your daughter, Hattie, with us as our loving mother and grandmother. You loved us so much that you allowed her to teach us and care for us. You loved her even more than we could to cradle her in your arms and take her from pain, suffering and toils of this world. Thank you that she was here to watch more than one generation grow and flourish. Help us all to continue to work at reuniting with her again . In Jesus name, Amen.
