My name is Veronica. I just learned of the loss of your dear Darrell. Although personally we have never met I wish to express my condolences to both yourself and your loved ones, I deeply symphathize with all of you on your loss. We may wonder why we ever have to say goodbye to any one we love? Or if we will ever see them again? I have found much comfort in what the Holy Bible says about the ones we've lost in our lifetime. The Bible has a wonderful hope that we can see them again, living, happy and healthy (John 5:28,29). This hope has given me peace of mind and something to look forward to in the near future. I truly hope it does the same for you and your family.

Sorry to hear of your loss. The pain of grief can be hard to deal with. It's a pain only God can heal. You can take comfort in knowing he is not only aware of our pain but also there to comfort us. 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4, (God of all comfort).

After I read about Darrell's untimely death after just 29 short years of precious life, I wanted to express my feelings of sympathy for the Nickens family. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving God Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. Psalm 34: 18 tells us: 'Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.' Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Most of us have seen this enemy death claim the lives of people dear to us. But Jehovah God promises to destroy this enemy, death, once and for all. Rev. 21: 4; tells us: 'And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.' (Isaiah 25: 8, 1 Corinthians 15: 26) For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection (John 5: 28, John 6: 40, John 11:25) I offer my sincere condolences to the family.
