Funeral service for Delia Echols, 72, of Auburn, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 1535 West Farmville Road, Auburn, AL, 36830, Brother Jimmy Jackson will officiate.

Ms. Echols, who passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born March 20, 1951, in Macon County, Alabama.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Tony Echols of Opelika, AL; two grandchildren, Alexander Jones of Auburn, AL and Ciarra Gunn of Opelika, AL; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Georgia Echols of Auburn, AL; one brother, Tommy Echols of Syracuse, NY; one aunt; three special nieces, Gwen Echols (Larry Bufford), Catherine (Tony) Dumas both of Auburn, AL and Phyllis Echols of New York, NY; a special friend, John Richardson of Auburn, AL; a special family friend, Nancy (Grant) Davis of Auburn, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
