Monette Damon 'Mo', 50 of E. Middleton Drive in Creedmor, NC passed on March 27, 2017 at Duke HomeCare & Hospice in Durham,NC.

Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526

At the request of the family all floral arrangements need to be small.

After I read about Monette's recent death after just 50 short but full years of precious life, I wanted to express my feelings of sympathy for the Damon family and friends. I know Monette has left you with many precious memories and will be greatly missed. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving God Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. Psalm 34: 18 tells us: 'Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.' Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Most of us have seen this enemy death claim the lives of people dear to us. But Jehovah God promises to destroy this enemy, death, once and for all. Rev. 21: 4; tells us: 'And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.' (Isaiah 25: 8, 1 Corinthians 15: 26) Isaiah 26:19 'Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life.' Isaiah 25:8 'He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it.' The Bible also enlightens us at Hebrews 2:14 'so that through his (Jesus) death, he (Jesus) might bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death, that is, the Devil.' God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. A pillar of strength with the most regal of smiles.  Never giving way to her struggles and always, always so encouraging to me and the family.  If you asked her how she was doing… she would tell you how proud she was of everyone and blessed to be with you.  She was gifted with the ability to turn her pain into a smile and kind words.  Beautiful souls can do that…  From our W.M.
